Julianne’s dance education reaches from Vermont to Seattle with over 15 years of training and performance experience. She studied with the Burklyn Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Composite Dance from Brigham Young University. While attending BYU, she performed with the Theatre Ballet Company throughout the United States and with The International Folk Dance Ensemble in Canada, Belgium, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. She has choreographed numerous works for children and adults, ranging from pre-ballet recitals to solo and group works for principal and highly-trained dancers. She taught ballet classes at Utah Valley’s Academy of Dance and instructed in BYU’s Folk Dance Division. Julianne appeared in Disney’s television movie "The Luck of the Irish" in which she performed Irish softshoe and hardshoe. She also studied with T.C.R.G. (certified) championship level Irish dancer Tina Shelley and completed advanced Irish classes in both softshoe and hardshoe styles. Her enthusiasm for dance is contagious as evident in her wonderful husband Michael and three children, Brendan, Audrey and Madeline who also love to move and perform to music. |
